2 weekends back, my lovely, intelligent, and generous wife permitted me to go to the Chicago Auto Show with a couple of my buddies to basically spend the day drinking beer and ogling cars. Nora wasn't interested in coming. She's way too into her princesses these days -- I thought that getting her a purple Barbie sports car for Christmas would have done the trick. Maybe Henry will be interested in coming next year.
There were some terrific cars on display -- I only took pictures of a few. A highlight was the Nissan GT-R. With a reported 0-60 time of 3.3 seconds, 4 seats, and a modest price tag of $70,000, I'd be able to take the kids to-and-from daycare and make grocery runs much more efficiently. And of course, that would make Ann very happy.
Here's Dave with the very practical Porsche 911 Targa.
And Ed (looking tuff) with a sinister, matte black, concept car from Lexus.

But did you observe safety first. Here it seems your message is "safety last". I think last but not least doesn't work here.
That purple Barbie sportscar looks like most of the cars here. Except here, people let their kids stand up in the front seat of their cars. But as I like to say "safety last, but not least!"
