11 pounds, 8 ounces

... and 23 inches. That's 95th percentile for height and weight.
This kid is H U G E.

(Please, Karen, no wise comments regarding head circumference.)

At this rate, he'll be wearing adult diapers pretty soon, and Ann will have to eat like an Olympian to maintain her milk supply!

This has been a classic, beautiful fall weekend. Trees are just beyond peak color. Nora and I did a little raking today, and she finally got to experience a leap into a pile of leaves. Since we were working, we did not take pictures of the raking process. We did, however, take some pictures during an outing to a nearby park.

(Disclaimer: no babies were harmed during this photo shoot.)

After a busy day of play, it was nap time for Nora. Again, please note the attention-hogging cat.

That night, Nora's dolls had their first slumber party.

15 October 2007 (part 1)

My apologies for publishing this as four separate posts. I couldn't figure out how to upload all of the photos into the same entry (the program only seems to handle 4 images at a time).

On we go. We'll start things off this week with a display of new clothes! Nora's rocking her new red outfit and hair ribbons. Henry's showing us what a "Sport Champ" looks like

And here's the big sister, showing off her new hat.

15 October 2007 (part 2)

What's this? Hey, we have a cat!
We usually remember to feed Monto, but lately he's been going out of his way to make us notice him...

Here's our favorite baby sitter, Kimmy, meeting Henry for the first time.

And here's Henry learning how to flirt.

15 October 2007 (part 3)

Here's Henry at his first party -- our friends Jeremy and Carmina were kind enough to host a birthday party for their girls (Michala and Naomi) and to invite Nora as an honorary birthday girl (all 3 girls were born near the same date). Henry was a star, and had a good time watching football games from the couch with the rest of the men.

This movie clip cracks me up.

Finally, here are some pictures of Nora partying like a 4 year old.

Another movie

Henry's nearing 4 weeks old, so it's about time I posted another movie clip. He's definitely taking a greater interest in his surroundings. And he's become so expressive! In addition to "the cry," he's also learned "the pant" and "the grunt" along with "the flailing arms." (I apologize for the darkness of the video clip -- it was near bedtime, and I'm lucky I didn't get scolded for distracting him from sleep!)

Nora is becoming an excellent big sister, and she's very affectionate toward her li'l bro. I thought I'd add an exciting movie clip of her performing an amazing playground feat!

Take care, everybody!

Love,
Steve, Ann, Nora, and Henry
